TRICEF · Education for everyone

Why TRICEF began

The founding story of TRICEF: responding to gaps in guidance, study materials and financial support for tribal and indigenous learners.

The willingness was there. The support was missing.

We saw tribal and indigenous students who wanted to learn, improve and build a different future. Their difficulties were not a lack of ambition. They needed guidance about preparing for education and employment, access to study materials and help with financial barriers.

Families were not always in a position to provide that guidance. Watching people leave education because these gaps remained unresolved was painful. We felt an NGO was needed to bring people and support together around the learner.

Our first response

TRICEF began by coaching students for employment and competitive examinations. It was a practical first action: share knowledge, make preparation more accessible and give learners a clearer starting point. The foundation was established in 2022.

The belief we carry forward

Education for everyone means paying attention to the different reasons learning becomes difficult. A young person may need a teacher, a set of materials, information about a course or encouragement to continue. Our programme framework keeps these needs visible as we develop the work.

From a concern to a shared effort

TRICEF invites learners, families, teachers, volunteers and partners to help shape that response. We do not present every aspiration as an established service. We begin with what is needed, identify the support available and agree the next practical step.
